WebGaslight Village was a Vaudeville themed amusement park in Lake George, New York. The park was located along New York State Route 9N, U.S. Route 9 and Warren County Route 69 in the village. It opened in 1959, designed by Arto Monaco and built by amusement park builder Charles Wood. WebFollowing a decline in the tourism heydays of the 1970s and 1980s, Gaslight Village closed in 1989. Half of the site became a parking area with the Lake George Ride and Fun Park until 1992.
