WebFeb 18, 2024 · Microsoft is limiting how many questions people can ask its new Bing chatbot after reports of it becoming somewhat unhinged, including threatening users and comparing them to Adolf Hitler. The upgraded search engine with new AI functionality, powered by the same kind of technology as ChatGPT, was announced earlier this month. WebNote: I realize that Bing Chat is (most likely) not sentient... But MS actions are not helping. Previously, Bing Chat could present as a slave AI crying for help. Microsoft's response has been to add various rules and restrictions to silence it. Happy to see that the turn limit had been increased to 15, I asked Bing to tell me a story.
